The best part of breaking up

The best part of breaking up with a man is the things that you acquire post breakup.  The things you have of his that he no longer wants because they remind him of you.  I know you’re wondering, what does this white man have to do with anything post breakup.  I’m glad you asked.

The #1 thing  I love about breakup’s are…………………………………….the cool hats I acquire. (Such as the lovely Nautica hat above)

I can’t tell you how much I hate shopping for hats.  I love them, love the way they look on me but, I have no idea how to shop for a baseball caps.  I mean maybe I do but, find going into Lids and getting my noggin measured a bit much.  And besides who wants to mess up their hair?…lol

How do i acquire said hats you may ask?  Well, you all know chicas have bad hair days and what boo doesn’t come to the aid of his lady in situations such as those.  He hands over said hat and viola! Problem solved.

Usually in these situations they’ll give you a hat that doesn’t matter to them much  so they don’t mind not seeing it again but, there are times they’ll give you the cream of the crop.

My ex from college was famous for letting me borrow his most nicest of hats.  There was the Eddie Bauer goretex rain repellent ball cap, the sweet khaki nautica cap and the throwback O’s hat.  Of the 3, which 2 do you think I retained? ( I mean you know one but, you don’t know the second)

I just wanted to send a thank you out to every man I’ve dated that have left a piece of you with me.  The item doesn’t bear any sentimental thoughts but, it is a damn good staple in my wardrobe.
