Oh my gluts!

Yesterday was the first day of practice with a new and improved Swagger.  Swagger is the name of the flag football team i play for.  Already I feel we are making more progress than last season.  Last season we’d talk about meeting for practice but the usual late people would be late and they are the main ones that would benefit from a practice.

With all the running hard and over extending my arms for the ball, my legs and arms are a bit sore…my legs more so than my hands and arms.  I’d been working prior to the season to kinda get my legs where they need to be.  I already feel I’m a lil faster and a lil bit more aggressive than last season.

Having said that once I got in the house from practice I really didn’t move.  I think i laid in the bed all yesterday after practice which was the wrong thing to do but i’ll be damned if it didn’t feel good.  I missed several calls but i could hardly move my legs.  My glut muscle in my right leg must have been tweaked a bit when i called myself cutting during a pattern :(

Maybe I need to incorporate these into my stretching routine..but somehow no matter how much i stretch I’m always sore.

Fantasy football!!!! The live draft starts in my league in about 7 hours…wish me luck
