employee evaluation timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..

I have my 3 month evaluation today @ 9am. The way this company does it, they give you the same evaluation as your supervisor, you rate yourself and when you and your supervisor meet up you go over both.

In the short but long 3 months I’ve been there I have noted a few things that have been stifling my growth as a professional. Since I’ve been there, there have been at least 3 different incident that bothered me. The first one I let slide, the second I handled (or thought i did) and well this 3rd is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Last night as i lay in bed, i tossed and turned thinking about how i was gonna phrase what it is I need to say. I’m not backing down because I feel if I don’t take this stand now, then it’ll keep happening.

I mean I know this is a job but if I wanted to continue to work in a workplace not conducive to my growth, I would have stayed at my old job.

Oh, and in my haste to get this out I did not give props to the weather…it was simply gorgeous in Baltimore last night. I slept with the windows up for the 1st time in about 2 months
