Water, please
For the first time in a long time, I ordered a water @ a bar.
I was out with friends after resting immediately after work. It was so hot outside that all I wanted to do was go home and relax. I got a text that some chillin was going down so I slide thru without hesitation. It was not my intention to drink but, knowing bartenders have their perks. We slid thru a gay club where a friend was bartending and we had a few drinks, played a few games of pool and played nice. After a few beers and a few dirty martinis, I was coasting…like floating. See, a dirty martini use to be my go to drink. Like some people do LIT’s (long island ice tea’s for the drinking challenged), I do straight vodka. It’s never done me wrong or led me astray. As they say brown puts you down, white does you right! Towards the end of the evening, just as everyone was gearing up to go all in..i ordered a water. I mean, I hate to be the pussy of the crew but I really needed a water. Water is usually not my drink of choice but your body craves what it needs and I downed a few waters. For good reason too! The main downfall to having bartenders as friends, is that you know your drink will be on point..too on point. After seeing the BFF slumped over(eyes closing and rolling) when we got back to ed’s and ned’s I knew it was time to call it a night, eat and take my ass home. Anddddddd, here I am typing this thought fresh out of my mind.
It’s 236 am and my innernets connection is acting janky..so I’m typing this in word because I know come 8 am, I’m going to be totally dry of blogging thought.
While I’m on it..I was going to support a friend and go to DC to celebrate her Bday but, fuck that..it’s too damn hot…way too hot..Not even a trip to the boom boom room can get me outta bmore right now.

And um, I went to a gay bar yesterday and almost had to read a queen. The heat’s got us all acting up.
But nah, nothing wrong with a little water at the bar. Just stick a lime on the side and a lil black straw. That way you look like you’re taking that Goose to the head!
