An Open Love letter
Dear Blue Sea Grill,
It hasn’t been since my success run at Alero’s in DC that I’ve loved a happy hour so much. With your cool interior, hip wait staff and sassy bartendress, I immediately knew this would be my new go to spot for after work debauchery. Sitting at your bar I perused the Happy Hour selection gleefully. I was thoroughly impressed with the selection. You didn’t give me 5 choices of food and 5 choices of liquor, rather a plethora. One by one, I read off the happy hour food menu to my friends. I wanted to try them all, but i didn’t. You really got me with the fast shucking and serving of fresh clams and oysters, which by the way were maryland breed with a salt water sweetness. *sigh* Even your rail drinks weren’t rail, with such selections as Smirnoff Vodka and Bacardi gold rum. For the life of me I had to wonder why your were empty, but people can continue to sleep. Did I also mention I think it’s hella awesome you do complimentary valet parking? What more can i ask for in an establishment with such good taste? Nothing.
